OFFICIAL: Real Madrid Announce Their Permanent Coach

Real Madrid has officially announced their new coach and they have put an end to Santiago Solari been an Interim coach and made the Argentine the main manager of the first team, according to report in Marca.

Solari was only tested on an interim basis which lasted for two weeks after the sack of Julen Lopetegui following a slow start to the season.

Solari was promoted from the Castilla team and has gone to impress the Real Madrid directors after he won four games scoring 15 goals in the process and conceding just two.

With Solari's result after the period of two weeks, he has swept off every doubt regarding taking up the Bernabeu top job.

Former lecturer of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Professor Richard Akindele was on Monday sentenced to 6 years in jail for demanding sex to pass his student,Monica Osagie by Justice Maurine Onyetenu of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo The accused had pleaded not guilty to the charge of sexual harassment preferred against him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offenses Commission, ICPC. He had since then been remanded in prison custody following objection to his bail by the prosecution ICPC. When the case came up on Monday, Richard opted to change his earlier plea and admitted guilty of the offences as charged. ASUU Strike: Claims of N350,000, N500,000 Tuition Fees Untrue—Babalakin

The Federal Government negotiating team has appealed to the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, to return to the negotiating table, while denying that it has proposed the imposition of N350,000 and N500,000 as tuition fees to be paid per annum by undergraduates. Speaking with newsmen in Lagos, weekend, Chairman of the team, Dr. Wale Babalakin, dismissed the figures as not only incorrect and contradictory, but also a figment of the imagination of ASUU officials peddling them around the country. He said: “We do not know from where ASUU got the figures that it has been peddling around the country.
