Manchester United Sack Jose Mourinho

Man Utd Have Sacked Jose Mourinho after the club made their worst start to a season in almost 30 years, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday. The 55-year-old Portuguese’s last match in charge was the 3-1 defeat by league leaders Liverpool on Sunday which left them 19 points behind their opponents. It is United’s worst start in the league since 1990 and even his ambition of reaching the top four and a Champions League qualification spot is in danger with the club 11 points adrift of those places. Despite the club having reached the Champions League knockout stages — they face an intimidating last-16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain — a mix of the results, dressing-room discord and criticism of the board’s transfer policy proved potent factors in the decision to dismiss him. “Manchester United announces that manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect,” a club statement said. “The club would like to thank Jose for ...

Sarri To spend £200m On Four Players Ahead FIFA Ban On Chelsea

Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri, will spend more than £200million in January window following the threat of a two-year transfer ban by FIFA. The money will be spent on four players. FIFA had last week recommended the Blues receive a four-window transfer ban following an investigation into them signing under-age foreign players. The threat will push the Blues to work around the clock in January to bring in a number of targets before the ban hits. Express Sports reports that Chelsea are ready to go head-to-head with both Manchester United and City to sign 27-year-old £50m-rated Brazilian wing-back Alex Sandro from Juventus. Sarri is already on the verge of winning the £70m-race to land winger Christian Pulisic, 20, from Borussia Dortmund. The Italian manager will also pay £50m for 24-year-old right-back, Elseid Hysaj. The Blues are also looking to invoke a £40m buy-back clause in the deal that took central defender Nathan Ake to Bournemouth.

Real Sociedad winger, Adnan Januzaj, has disclosed that Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, never gave him the chance to prove himself during his time at Old Trafford. The Belgium international, however, said that he was good enough for United, but Mourinho did not give him the chance he needed, adding that the Portuguese gaffer wanted more experienced players with names. Januzaj, who spent five years at United, made 50 appearances and scored five goals for the Red Devils. The 23-year-old was loaned out to Borussia Dortmund and Suderland, before he eventually joined La Liga side, Real Sociedad. “I didn’t really get a chance because at the time he [Mourinho] probably wanted more experienced players with names,” Januzaj told Sky Sports News. Januzaj insisted that he had the attributes to succeed at United, but claimed he is happy at Sociedad where he has made 39 appearances in all competitions since joining the club in 2017. “For me, it wasn’t a p...

Rumours over the future of Manchester United star Paul Pogba don’t look like going away any time soon. Could he be set to continue his career back-and-forth by re-signing for Juventus after re-signing for United? The Daily Express reports that Juve will offer Jose Mourinho his pick of three of their star players as part of a deal to take Pogba back to Turin. Those players are centre-back Medhi Benatia, wing-back Alex Sandro and Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic. But Barcelona are also said to be interested and could come up with an offer of their own. This is a tricky situation for both the club and Jose Mourinho. Pogba has been improving in each and every match. Mourinho would consider keeping the star. Dybala Rejects Man Utd Link

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has rejected the notion that he could leave the club next year and has pledged to help the team fight for major trophies. The Italian champions are on course to retain their crown after just three-and-a-half months of the new season, having already moved six points clear of second-placed Napoli. Massimilano Allegri’s men are unbeaten in Serie A after 12 matches and are also exerting their dominance on the European stage, sitting top of their Champions League group ahead of Manchester United. “I’m not thinking about the transfer market,” Dybala said. “Right now I’m really happy at Juventus and the focus is simply winning all the titles here.” Dybala went on to discuss his relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo, who arrived at the Allianz Stadium during the summer from Real Madrid and has been an instant hit in Italy. It had been suggested that the Portuguese maestro’s presence might overshadow his own ability...

Alvaro Morata Sets New Unwanted Premier League Record Against Everton

Chelsea Striker Alvaro Morata has been a man on a poor streak of form in the recent past. The striker seem to have lost his goalscoring touch that made him a darling of many especially during his time at Juventus. The question many Chelsea Fans are asking now is if the striker will recover his very best form. His two goals last time out seem to have done little to change Chelsea fans’ opinion about him with many seeing him as a weakling due to his nature of going down easily even at minimal touch from opponent players. The Striker has also come under great attacks due to his tendency to poorly position himself and especially in opponents boxes. This was widely seen today in the Chelsea match against Everton with the striker being ruled offside five times. This set a premier league record this season. Morata even had a goal disallowed for offside hence making the Chelsea-Everton match end in a barren draw. Chelsea Fans took to social media to convey their displeasure with the S...

Mourinho Regrets Buying Alexis Sanchez, Reveals Who Man United Should Have Bought

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, regrets buying Alexis Sanchez and believes the club made a mistake in not signing Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic. Sanchez is believed to be unhappy at Old Trafford and looking to leave the club. The Chilean has lost his place in the side to Anthony Martial and scored just one goal in all competitions this season. Mourinho has been stumped by his sudden decline in performances, and The Times reports he has privately admitted that United signed the wrong winger. The Portuguese coach still regrets the club’s failure to sign Perisic, with CEO Ed Woodward reportedly refusing to stump up an extra £5m. Mourinho feels his side lack a brilliant crosser to exploit their height advantage and has been disappointed with Sanchez’s end product.
