Manchester United Sack Jose Mourinho

Man Utd Have Sacked Jose Mourinho after the club made their worst start to a season in almost 30 years, the Premier League club announced on Tuesday. The 55-year-old Portuguese’s last match in charge was the 3-1 defeat by league leaders Liverpool on Sunday which left them 19 points behind their opponents. It is United’s worst start in the league since 1990 and even his ambition of reaching the top four and a Champions League qualification spot is in danger with the club 11 points adrift of those places. Despite the club having reached the Champions League knockout stages — they face an intimidating last-16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain — a mix of the results, dressing-room discord and criticism of the board’s transfer policy proved potent factors in the decision to dismiss him. “Manchester United announces that manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect,” a club statement said. “The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United a

Fausat Balogun Cries Out For Help

Veteran Yoruba actress, Fausat Balogun, popularly known as Madam Saje, has cleared the air on the perception most people have about luxurious lifestyle of  stakeholders in the movie industry. According to her there is hardship in Nollywood as she voiced out to Nigerians on the financial crisis affecting the movie industry. Below is what she said during an interview about challenges facing the Nollywood Industry; “Our leaders should have mercy on us. There is suffering in Nollywood. I just pray that God will make them have good thoughts towards us. If we are treated the way actors are treated in western countries, you can imagine where we would be. The only thing keeping many of us here is the passion we have for the job. If not for that, some people would have resorted to selling wares at Oshodi. There are no structures in place and pirates are also dealing with us. “As for me, I have spent over 45 years in this industry; so, it is something that is already part of me. I cannot rea

Enoch Adeboye Issues Warning To RCCG Members

Top 20 Best Courses In Nigeria

In Nigeria today, there are general perceptions about the value of the courses studied at the university. Some courses are seen as useless because career opportunities for them in Nigeria are very low and they are not generally valued. And some are seen as very perspective because they have the value already in Nigeria and they come with more opportunities than every other course. Medicine remains the number one best course to study in Nigeria only because of the general belief that jobs are readily available for medical graduates. But this opinion is beginning to change especially with how things are currently going on in the country. It is quite difficult to list twenty top university courses in Nigeria because there are no standard data to rank courses in our country as the best. But based on perception and marketability of Nigerian university courses and how graduates are doing in Nigeria, here is our opinion on the top 20 best courses to study in Nigeria. Please note, that ther

5 Reasons Why Every Girl Needs A No Make Up Day

Every girl needs a no makeup day. Your Face Needs To Rest: The face just like the rest of your body needs to rest, needs to breathe, needs to take a break from the hustle. The layers and layers of powders and substances that your face has to accommodate everyday is super crazy and you need to give it a rest day. Also, so you don’t break out. Proper Care : Sometimes we have the makeup to hide all the blemishes, pimples and acne (yes we do!) and we forget to take a step back and make sure our face is actually in order. Sometimes it is done as on oversight and then you just don’t feel the need at the end of the day. Confidence Booster : You know how some ladies don’t feel good when they leave the houses without their purses or they forget something really important at home? That has become the same for lipsticks, eyeliners, mascaras and foundation. Ladies don’t feel complete without it, it’s like their day is just going to go plain bad with out Ruby Woo. Lulu Jemimah,Oxford University Student Marries Herself

Love 'em, hate 'em, whatever - you can always rely on your family for one thing or another. For many of us, they can be supportive, loving and always good for a chat. Still, even the best of our families can also prove themselves to be a massive pain in the arse - and once you reach a certain age, at least one member is always guaranteed to ask you when you're getting married. This may not be a priority for most people - it certainly wasn't for Lulu Jemimah, who's been busy studying hard for her master's degree at Oxford University. The 32-year-old student got so sick of this ever-recurring question that she came up with a perfectly sensible answer - she would get married to herself. Yes, you read correctly, she married herself. Well I suppose they do say 'there's someone for everyone', and Lulu knew exactly where to find her perfect match. She organised the whole mock wedding, sending out invites, hiring a dress, walking down the aisle and even

Why Is Urine Yellowish In Colour?

Urination is an everyday call of nature. Most people excrete urine yellowish or straw in colour while others have it as clear as drinking water.  The question is why is the urine yellowish in colour? Scientifically , urine is composed of a pigment known as urochrome or urobilin which appears to be yellow, straw or amber.  The color appearance of urine depends on the concentration of this pigment.  The human body functions best when it is properly hydrated.  When one takes a lot or enough amount of water, the pigment gets diluted and the urine excreted appears clear or less yellowish. It should also be noted that it is not only this pigment that alters the color of urine but also the chemical composition of the food one eats.  Certain changes in the colour of urine may also mark underlying medical conditions.  So what is the normal colour of urine? Everybody has their own normal colour of urine although, it should fall on the yellow spectrum depending
